Top Tech Myth that Are Not True !!!
1. Apps Running in the Background Should Be Closed to Save Battery and Avoid Slowdowns
When we talk about to save your battery or Ram the first thing come in our mind is that we should close background process to make our smartphone’s Ram free for better use. But this is biggest myth. Some of background process is necessary for phone so that it can access various information at once. Sometime we switch between apps so fast , it is possible because your phone keep some apps in its memory so that you can access them fast and when we clear RAM or background process then phone lst it touch to recent apps which makes a little lag to switch between different apps during multi tasking. So more free ram is not a good news
Drain our Battery Completely Before Charging
This is common myth that we belive that first we have to drain complete battery upto 5% and then charge it. But it is wrong it does not matter when you charge or not charge your phone. You can charge it even at 70% or 1% it does not affect all. On the other hand charging phone battery from 1% to 100% is time consuming. You should charge phone first up to 50% and use it and then when battery down charge it again up to 50-60%..Because our phone charge fast upto 50% then after 50% it takes lots of time to reach 90% because our batter designed that way.
Greater The MegaPixel Get Best Quality Photos
Everybody loves photoshoot and today even phone has 20MP camera. Dual Camera but we generally choose phone on the basi of MegaPixel of its Camera. We think that if phone have great Megapixel Camera then it give us best output. But this is not truth. Yes photo quality depend on phone’s Megapixel but its also depend in its PPI(Pixel Per Inch) the more PPi you got the best quality photo you can click. Because of these PPI we can notice the smallest details in our clicked Photo. Two different company of same Megapixel Camera can click differet quality of photos because of their PPI.
Speed Of Phone Depend On Ram
This is the most common myth and even I used to belive on that. We generally buy a phone with hiher Ram even company itself tells that they have high Ram phones that never lags. But it is not true. Yes phone speed depends on RAM but it also depend on its Processor. If your processor is weak then it does not matter you have 8GB ram. Because if your processor can’t able to huge RAM then your RAM always remains free because your phone can’t utilize it efficiently. On the other hand if your phone has high Power processor then it can manage in 3GB RAM efficiently.
Charging Your Phone Overnight Kills the Battery
This is another myth that was true at one point, but as battery and charging technologies have improved, it’s now completely false. Older batteries weren’t smart enough to realize when they’re full, and overcharging them consistently led to decreased battery life over time.
Today’s charging mechanisms are smarter. Once your phone is fully charged, it stops drawing electricity.
It’s completely acceptable to charge your smartphone while you sleep.
Automatic Brightness Settings Save Battery
This is completely false. The idea is, by using the on-board light sensor of a smartphone, it can automatically calibrate the ideal brightness setting to save power.
The reality is, this might save you a bit of battery by dimming your screen when appropriate, but that pesky light sensor actually uses more power over the course of the day by constantly pinging your CPU to process the data it collects and decide if a lower (or higher) brightness setting is appropriate.
UPDATES MAKE YOUR DEVICE FASTER
If you have a phone from a global brand, chances are that you're receiving constant updates and upgrades for your device. But is it really useful?Updates do make your devices safer but as many users have also reported, the device actually slows down over time with newer upgrades. This primarily happens due to additional files and apps that are sometimes bundled by device makers. Even in the case of Android, different operating systems have different hardware requirement. The Android OS will only install on a device if it matches the minimum hardware requirement but the actual need keeps increasing. That happens due to more advanced visual elements and software being added on to different platforms.
POWER BANKS DAMAGE YOUR BATTERY
This is a very common concern among cellphone users but there's so much more than what meets the eye. Power banks are a dime a dozen. Some offer fast charging while others offer highest-rated storage capacity but are they really damaging your battery?
The answer is simply no and there is a context to it as well. There are both branded and generic devices in the power bank market, the branded ones mostly rely on high quality charging circuits that protect the devices and charge them in a way similar to that of a regular wall charger.
However, in the case of unbranded devices, the flow of electricity can be erratic that could lead to overheating. This can damage the battery. However, I'd suggest you buy a power bank with double or more than the rated capacity of the battery of the device being charged to avoid this issue.
